Poliom became the most efficient enterprise in the Omsk region for the third time

These are the conclusions reached by experts of the territorial body of the Omskstat Federal State Statistics Service.

The data is indicated in the annual analytical survey "Leaders of the large and medium-sized businesses of the Omsk region" in 2018 that is published for the twentieth time.

The joint venture of Gazprom Neft and SIBUR took the leading position among 173 institutions named as the leaders. In total, the specialists analyzed 1357 reports provided by the small and medium-sized businesses. Data relating to the revenue, net profit, capital turnover rate and its individual components, as well as other information were used for ranking.

The Omsk Polypropylene Plant tops the high-profile regional rating for the third year running. In addition, the company has repeatedly been one of the largest companies in Siberia according to the Expert rating agency, and is also one of the most profitable companies in the Siberian Federal District.

The Poliom plant was commissioned in 2012. The production is based on the Spheripol process developed by LyondellBasell Polyolefins Industries (Italy). The latest technological solutions allow the production process to be performed efficiently, reliably and safely both for the employees and for the environment. The Poliom plant is one of the three leading Russian producers and exporters of polypropylene and is one of the largest taxpayers in the Omsk region.
